A remarkable olive - This variety originally comes from Slovenia, is mainly cultivated in the border area with Italy and is therefore in its new home, here in Eastern Austria, closer to home than any other variety.
The Bianchera is known for producing an excellent olive oil, at the same time surviving the most unpleasant winters and also producing beautiful, large fruits with a continuous yield. The whole thing also has its price - due to the difficult breeding that all elite varieties have in common, it is also one of the most expensive trees.
A botanical phenomenon applies to the olive - it is a so-called "pseudo-self-compatible" tree and can pollinate itself, which does not apply to all varieties - Bianchera can pollinate itself, but is happy to have a partner, ideally "Maurino “ – then the harvest will be even more plentiful!

  • Strong olive oil with a fruity taste
  • Oil with a high polyphenol content and therefore a real health bomb
  • Large fruits and high oil content
